Movenpick - Mount Wellington

Very nice place for ice cream. Interior is a rather cramped space located right in the corner of an intersection along Mission bay. They have a various selection of ice cream to pick from which is a big plus for me. The waffle cone is excellent, not too soggy and it has a good amount of firmness and weight. It holds its shape properly and is heavy when you pick it up. When you bite into it, it has a good amount of crunch to it. Ice cream is at a right consistency, not too runny nor doughy, but again holds its shape perfectly. <br/ <br/ This shop, with its surrounding environment, really reminds me of Kaffee Eis in Courtenay Wellington. Haven't had the chance to try their ice cream enough to figure this out but I do hope that the ice cream flavours are weekly/seasonal like it is down in Welly. <br/ 8/10

This was the first ice cream parlour opened by Movenpick in New Zealand. It’s a must visit spot at Mission Bay. <br/ <br/ The store is fairly newly renovated with a busy ambience especially during the weekend. <br/ <br/ They have a great selection of ice cream and other desserts. For ice creams,I highly recommend the blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu flavours. The ice cream waffles are freshly made and quite delicious as well. Great for sweet lovers. <br/ <br/ Their hot chocolates are very nice as well. <br/ <br/ Friendly staff and speedy service. Clean store and the staff are really kind eventhough it was very busy when I visited. I got a single scoop of swiss chocolate flavour in a cup. The icecream was so rich and smooth. Liked the texture of the chocolate chips.

Had the set tasting menu. Quite valuable, nice decor, friendly staffs. Love the brownies, like the chocolate and the berries flavours. Overall 7/10

We come here all the time. <br/ <br/ Staff friendly <br/ Environment nice (can be packed on the weekends) <br/ Location convenient as it’s along the other restaurants the beach. <br/ Food scrumptious !
