The server at the front of the house welcomed us, took care of us, served us, and was very knowledgeable and helpful in taking our order. He suggested a dish for our older daughter who was unsure of what to order, and she ended up enjoying it. He was a true gentleman and I wish I could remember his name. Hopefully he reads this review - maybe he'll remember our granddaughter? View all feedback.

The food was fresh and delicious. It was a bit on the pricier side, but for just a few extra dollars, you get some high-quality food. I will definitely be returning to try everything on their menu. View all feedback.

This hidden gem in Mount Pleasant offers the best sushi I have ever tasted outside of Plano/Frisco. I ordered 10 pieces of tuna sashimi, which was incredibly fresh and delivered daily from Dallas. Although the ingredient list for the rolls may be more limited compared to big cities, the food was still delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the staff was extremely patient and helpful. If I could, I would give this place six stars.
The food was excellent. We brought our 3-year-old named Paisley and ordered her a grilled cheese. She ended up being more interested in the fries, so we tried the sandwich ourselves. It was the best restaurant grilled cheese we have ever had.
My husband and I decided to try Maak for the first time today as we were passing through Mt. Pleasant and had a craving for sushi. Unfortunately, we found the sushi to be very disappointing. The rice lacked seasoning, which made all of the rolls we tried, including the nigiri, taste bland. However, the appetizers, staff, service, and overall atmosphere were enjoyable. We hope that they will start seasoning their rice to improve their sushi offerings.
