The entire staff… from the hostess, to the back of house staff is friendly and hospitable. I’m from out of town and the entire staff made me feel right at home! Sloan and Walker handle their business the outside bar!!!! If you are looking for a chill, no frills restaurant/bar experience….. this is the place. The entire staff will definitely treat you right.

Delicious food! Makes up for the jam packed and noisy environment. Or just get it to go. Get the locals tower if you like to eat your sushi with a fork. Not a joke, dead serious its awesome, we get it everytime. The Sullivans Roll was good! Nice spice, great flavor balance.

Claudia our server was extremely pleasant, I loved her positive vibes, friendly service, and vibrant purple hair. ? she made me and my friend very comfortable when ordering, and made sure we had plenty of water throughout the meal. but let’s talk sushi! Start with a really good portion of seaweed salad that had just the right amount of sesame, and was perfect in texture. Definitely loved my classic eel, mount pleasant, and west ashley chef’s special rolls. Was highly satisfied with the prices for two people being under 70$ and I loved the music they played as well as outdoor patio seating. I roll my own sushi at home and this place definitely deserves all five stars. i can honestly say I left this restaurant smiling, full bellied, and I look forward to coming back next week. Great job Claudia and whoever prepared our sushi! Top notch.

I'm in charleston for a bachelor party me and another girl arrived early. we went to the food store and after a drink and nailed a place close to it, this place appeared. we are pleasantly surprised. we showed up and I was like music outside and also bought a 50% of sushi rolls. sushi rolls absolutely amazing and channel cocktails. our server trinity was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. in any case when he came across this place by chance.

Sushi and tacos in the same place? Yes please! The best part is that both are done exceptionally well here. We had the Nashville hot chicken tacos and a few rolls and everything was excellent! The chicken in the taco was super crispy and not overly spicy. A couple of these would certainly fill a person up, but we had some of their rolls which I would rate above most of the pure sushi bars in the area. This is a great spot that every time we go, we tell ourselves that we need to come more often!
