What Serenity Hane doesn't like about Inglewood Hotel:
Have never been to the Inglewood prior to tonight and will never ever return for a meal. The food was j believably bad! Steak sandwiches were inedible, squid cooked well but salt and pepper seasoning all flaked off. Pork belly overcooked. Just terrible. Service was...More View all feedback.
Overall, eating was a C-class. parmy very common, and a f for the burger pattie, which was burned and costed by coal. we should have said something. friendly service and courts were in order. overall, why disturb?
For dinner with friends inglewood. on the bar and was served directly by a beautiful well-groomed and friendly barman. when he was ready to pay the Eftpos machine, a man came and hit his hand on the bar right in front of us and shouted to the barman “pleasing to work!” as customers we were appalled! when he left, we were told that he was the owner. I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior in my life. we were all shocked and dishonest. I will never go back and give it a single cent. he must take a lead from his personal and learn customer service and common human standing.
Unfortunately I think that eating here has been downhill since november 2019! in some places the quality was not as good as it was! the chef sous vide discovered when he kills it! in December I had pork chop, no taste, too much served and just terrible! I complained and it was taken out of the bill! I see now that it is from the menu! one of the current sweet dishes is a potato burr, no potato slices in the cream here only a fixed lump potato slices in a solid eggcake! pan fried gnocchi has hardly a frypan crust on it! the desserts also do not inspire, a salted caramel panacotta had been cooked too hard as a caramel sauce with a liter...more
The inglewood hotel is a fairly traditional pub and restaurant at the north end of the beaufort street in mount lawley. we visited a Christmas function and scanned the set menu. there were three choices from starter, three netzen and two desserts. I chose the bark-baked croquettes with watermelon and feta salat for starter. they were a little underscored on their own, but the addition of sweet balsamicum and salty feta for a beautiful mouthful when patterned together. my colleague chose the vegetarian bruschetta that she said was also a little underseasoned, but the artichokes were a nice note.
Great pub for live sports and a beverage or two. Always seems to be open and has plenty of seating options. Food is fairly poor overall and prices are not a ideal. Could be an amazing place really.
