Very good selection, for all ages. Very tasty lunch. Fish of the day and the club sandwich. Loved the coffee.
Beautiful hotel, could have stayed there all night. Wonderful food, was very yummy. Was served quickly. Highly recomnended for anytime.
Good pub food and prompt service. Had dinner mid week the atmosphere was quite and relaxed. The staff where friendly and helpful.
Arrived for Sunday Lunch. What we found was great old world Hotel with a great atmosphere. The Staff were very friendly and excellent service. It was very busy and could have done with one extra staff member, but they were more than helpful. They had the normal Sunday (Pork) roast which looked very good. We went for the oysters and then fish and chips, the food was excellent, Also has a good outdoor area although it is on the footpath it was screened off and very pleasant.
We arrived in Mount Gambier and found the hotel. We had to locate a carpark. The rooms lived up to the advertised images - they had been recently and tastefully renovated. The bathroom was a winner - beautiful walk in shower with a roof mounted rain shower head. We had a very comfortable sleep in the large, well made bed. Breakfast in the bistro the next morning was lovely. The only downside is that there aren't any lifts, so it is a matter of lugging luggage up and down steps - either inside or outside. The facility is investigating possible inclusion of a lift in the future.
