My family and I often go to Frenchy's for dinner. As a family of 6 with the youngest of us being 5 we find it hard to find a child friendly place to eat. But Frenchy's is our absolute favourite place in Albany! The food here is supreme and the service is just exceptional from the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome! It's a great family atmosphere The prices are affordable and you definitely... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Frenchy's Restaurant & Tea Rooms:
This restaurant needs some work, the food was average, my pasta I ordered was not cooked and to be honest I could have cooked it better myself, however the setting is nice and it suited nannas birthday dinner, the owner seemed like a nice bloke but he was very run of his feet guess he didn't think it was going to as busy as it was... This place has it all. Lovely decor, friendly service and amazing food. The baked Camembert and garlic prawns were the stand out dishes of the 5 we shared . Great flavours with all our dishes. Will be making this a regular venue
Stale food and poorly cooked. Most of the food was not eatable. Coffee was also poorly made and couldn’t even drink it. Would not recommend eating here.
Hoping for something interesting. Got edible. Service was friendly but slow (only one server. Possibly still trying to survive post-COVID? Always make allowances for that). Food was ok. Salad was typical wet Australian 70s style. Please stop serving salad like this.
We happened to book into the first day of this restaurant providing a Guy 's tea . First up, the promotional photo is misleading as there is no beer provided. That is just their suggestion on what would go well with the tea . It would, but we didn 't know we needed to bring our own beer. Now to the good part. The ambience is delightful, the service is excellent, and the food was scrumptious. Really good. The highlight was the coquettes. Wow. You could eat a plate of those. I would make one suggestion for an improvement. The dessert was a really good coffee mousse, but what would have gone nicer on the palate would have been a lemon soufflé or something similar. Overall, we will be back again very soon with more friends to enjoy this delightful restaurant and Guy 's tea . This time with our own beers and wines : .
We hosted a gathering here to remember an elderly family member. The light lunch was delicious and had a nice variety of sandwiches, quiches, and tasty cupcakes in various flavors. The setting was cozy and private, ideal for the occasion. The prices were reasonable and Michelle did a great job making everyone feel welcome. Overall, a fantastic venue.
