The Derby - Mount Airy

I'm not much of a rice fan, but the Tuesday Special Stew Beef with rice and Gravy was really good! Beef is very delicate. I also ordered the dead salad, which is only salad and pickled beets and derby dressing. That was very good. Our Ms. Susie server is one of the sweetest branches we met. She'll keep your coffee cup full. The hush puppies are very good.

Excellent customer service! The food is perfect south kitchen! Tasting NC Lexington style Bbq and land roasted Okra, crowned greens and pick up the beetles!

The food is delicious and the prices are for reasons. Daily specialties, most include 2veggies bread. The reason I gave them 4stars is because the BBQ I ate as the food of baby food was; all stirred, not chopped. I like the chickens and dumplings, their club sandwich and the service is exceptional! You have a disadvantage that is very convenient when you are in a hurry. I recommend this facility for an inexpensive good food with everyday specialties.

Love to cook the land here, especially the chicken and dumplings real dumplings too. Delicious!. Large variety of vegetables and very sufficient portions. Appropriately expensive. The restaurant hasn't changed since the 50s. Had a jukebox then. Love eat here.

We were in town visiting family. I love supporting local places. My cousin recommended this restaurant they were excellent. Wait staff was very friendly made sure we had everything we needed the whole time we were there. The food let me tell everything we got was delicious! Hush puppies, burgers, steaks. Yes I tried a bite of everybody's food. Lol couldn't help myself. Can't wait to go visit again will definitely be eating here! Thank you for the amazing dinner!
