Surah Japanese Steak House is a pleasant dining setting with very welcoming staff. There is a full bar, hibachi tables, sushi counter, and regular dining tables. The restaurant was just finishing up preparations to open, but we were seated, and our drinks were served promptly. I enjoyed an artfully prepared sashimi appetizer. Our main dishes came with tasty fried rice, noodles, soothing miso soup, mixed vegetables, a... View all feedback.

So sorry to find limited chef staff and incredibly long wait time. Too bad really as it is a fun place for family and special times. Food was good. Just the wait time was so awful. Feel bad for staff. View all feedback.

I had a great time at this place. It was my birthday a few days prior so my friends orchestrated a Happy Birthday song from the staff. I even got ballons. The food itself was pretty good. A little too oily for me (over the yrs I have gotten healthier and some foods I don't like the same way anymore) but the taste was pretty good and pretty much how I remember hibachi food tasting. A great place with a very friendly staff, I would go back to eat here again.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We were here for sushi and sashimi . Food was fresh and served very nicely .
First time and last time. Margareta's made with powder mix. Sake served cold, and should have been traditionally heated. Fried rice not fried enough. Lobster was tough, shrimp was good, scallops were excellent. Soup was basically warm water, salad was small and without yummy sauce. Ventilation was pathetic, and several family members had eye irritations.
Great food and great people. You can easily eat here as a vegetarian great tofu, fried rice, etc. If you want to keep it dairy free, you can ask them not to cook with butter or yum yum sauce. We did Hibachi, just two of us and the chef happily put on the show as if the table were full.Love their tofu, rice, noodles, vegetables, Japanese beer, etc. But the people on top of that… they are so sweet! You can tell they’re genuinely happy, nice people. One of the owners, a lady, is so sweet and gave us the best goodbye on the way out, then proceeded to open the door after we left to say ‘thank you guys, bye!’ It was a Monday so a slower day for them, and that was so kind. They take great pride in ensuring you enjoy yourself and your meal.We were there while a family was also for their sons 21st birthday. The birthday show with the gong and singing was so sweet.
