Contribute Feedback What Sofia Wright doesn't like about Ask Italian Moreton-in-Marsh:
we visited the cotswolds from the usa and looked for a romantic Italian dinner. we tried two nights to get a reservation and since they were fully booked, we thought it was just that. That wasn't like that. it was packed (as expected), but full of families with small children. the volume in the restaurant was loud. it wasn't romantic. the food was delicious, the service was hastened with very little eye contact. the... Online booking was convenient, but it shouldn't have requested any information in Italian until after we arrived.
While the food was absolutely delicious, the service felt rushed, with minimal eye contact from the staff. Our waitress was efficient and brief, which seemed to stem from the need for fast turnover to accommodate all the reservations. I would recommend this restaurant for its great food and family-friendly environment, but it's not the right choice for a romantic dinner.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The space was a good size—comfortable without being too crowded.
