I've been a consistent critic of this hotel over the past ten years, but I have to say that this evening I had dinner there with my family and there has been a big improvement since my last visit in May 2017.I ordered the veal scallopine and my wife and daughter both ordered the porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce and my grandsons had spaghetti bolognaise and chicken nuggets and chips.My veal was very nice and the... What User doesn't like about La Capannina:
Went in a group of 7. First couple were asked if they wanted theirs now or after all at the table ordered. They said with everyone else. They got their entree. Then their main. One had requested no onion and it had onion so it got returned and had to be redone. The other 5 people were still waiting on their meals. There were no surprises and we got what we expected from a good hotel, and it was further improved by personal service and not forced to use technology. we're coming back.
Music is too loud. Walked in door and I said hello and was told take table 19 well hello to you too the menu scan does not work. Drama getting an actual menu. Food was nice but don’t need to go back there in a hurry.
Food was very good, and the choice was excellent. The usual pub favs plus some different dishes at very reasonable prices. Staff were excellent, and very helpful.
Consistently good quality pub food in The Bistro, with friendly staff who who offer fast and efficient service. Occassional drink special (e.g. $7 Pint) are an added attraction.
My friend and I had a fantastic time in the hotel restaurant pascoe vale. very good environment, eating and drinks were delicious.
