Lobster rangoons sound like a great idea. Not sure why but they were very oniony and not what you would expect from a rangoon. They were large though. The calamari was delicious with a panko breading and some kind of very good soy sauce dipping sauce. Got the volcano roll and honey peanut avocado roll. They were good. Peanuts were crunchy. Salmon skin was crispy. Great texture on both. Environment and service is basi... View all feedback.
What Joe Clark doesn't like about Yamato Steak House:
I've never eaten there. I normally stick to American food. But my brother placed an order there today and asked me to pick it up for him. And I was not impressed with the cleanliness nor appearance of the restaurant. It was dirty and run down. View all feedback.
Ordered Pad Thai with chicken, and was given a dish with a lot of tofu and very little chicken. I don’t mind tofu, but it felt misleading. Also, they added sautéed green pepper to the dish and I’m not quite sure why. It wasn’t great and the price was $18 for the serving pictured in the review. Ordered a cup of hot green tea and it was served in a regular glass doubled with a plastic cup no mug or something with a handle. I hate to say it, but it feels like owners and management do not care about the shape of this restaurant and from what I gather, it was great many years ago. Hope things turn around for them because I would love to see them thrive.
Second time eating at this place. Our first time was so so second. We were not very happy with some of what we received this last time.we ordered takeout. One dish we ordered, pad tie, Requesting Chicken and there was very little Chicken, Mostly tofu fried to look like chicken. On the menu there was no mention of tofu even being in the dish. we don't eat tofu. Have not tried to sushi there, and because they have not been honest ingredients on there Menu, we wont be back.
The food here is wonderful. The California rolls are my favorite. Parking: Lots of free parking Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible
Hidden Gem, get the ramen you cannot go wrong. The hot and sour broth had the perfect amount of heat. Portions are great and the taste is wonderful! I was in town from Louisville and this place could beat out any of the ramen restaurants there!
