Sayuri - Ristorante giapponese

Spectacularly tasty Japanese. As Aussies we get plenty of great Japanese back home but this is as good as any. The dingy decor described by previous reviewers is all gone and it's a lovely underground restaurant. The hosts were so lovely and warm too. We had the okonomiyaki, katsu, and gyoza and all were wonderful flavoursome, well cooked, and looked amazing. Highly recommend!

Sayuri Japan Restaurant nice Ambiente simple facility, but still nice; there’s many tables kind and anxious service (spoke basic English) the food was nice. We ordered Philadelphia Maki Rolls, mixed tempura, rice cake with hot sesame sauce and ice cream mochi. All of it was delicious and fresh. Especially the sushi fish was fresh and tasty. the prices are more on the expensive side, but considering the freshness and quality of the fish it‘s totally ok. Staff had their child in the restaurant playing on a tablet, which seemed a little unprofessional The music seemed a bit off for a (Japanese) restaurant

Definitely the best sushi place in lugano. Amazing sushi, especially the dragon maki and uramaki spicy salmon, and the noodles yaki soba were exceptional! A really nice atmosphere and the food arrived really quickly. The staff is always really friendly and I’ve had the food countless times! Will definitely come again over and over.

Bestellt habe ich das Sashimi, aber das Stück Thunfisch wurde schlecht präsentiert, schlecht geschnitten und zäh. Anstatt Scheiben von Thunfisch sehen sie eher wie Stücke Rindfleischragout aus.

Japanisches Essen von guter Qualität, sehr abwechslungsreiche und originelle Speisekarte. Ich empfehle die Hossomaki Special Fritto.
