My wife and I ate here on our first night in Montreux. We had been in Switzerland for a few days and had come to expect the expensive dining costs of this country. This brasserie offers good meals at 'reasonable prices' for Switzerland. My wife had a very hearty home style soup, I had the Wiener Schnitzel which was a very good size and was served with pomme fritter and a few green veg. This, with 2 x 0.5 litre beer,... What Jean Lefort doesn't like about Brasserie Bavaria Sàrl:
A clean and pleasant restaurant which served local wines along with others. Not exactly Bavarian, more French/Swiss. We ordered trout and perch, both of which were good, but I think the restaurant could have included both vegetables and potatoes (the rösti was good), rather than one or the other. View all feedback.
What a great surprise hidden in a side street by the Montreux Casino. Qualitative brasserie food (boudin, seafood tested), easy going place with true food and kind hospitality. Tomorrow evening there Will be a band. We'll gladly come back to test that as well!
Nice food. Cozy atmosphere, fantastic choucroute. Worth a visit when in Montreux specially in fall/winter

We were recommended to visit this restaurant, which is in a quiet street, and therefore it was a bit quieter than it should have been. The food is to die for, roast beef tartar was extraordinary! Huge portions and it comes with a friendly service, we will be back!
We had a very good dinner at the Brasserie Bavaria. However, don't espext sausages and so on. We can recommend the beef and fish. Very good recommendation regarding local wines.
