The crepes were amazing, the service was excellent and the price was just right. We were exploring some different areas of Montreal and happy to find this restaurant, especially since they were serving breakfast/brunch until 3. We both ordered the Crepe Aux Champignons and couldn't believe the amazing taste. Well done! View all feedback.
What Skippounet doesn't like about Restaurant Bon-D:
Interesting decor, promising menu Had the lunch special Stratciatelle to start, looked funny and was really salty. But with a lot of pepper to balance out the salt, it was good. For main course, I had mushroom ravioli that were excellent. View all feedback.
I usually don't visit the same restaurant twice in one week, but I did this time because it was just so amazing! The roast salmon was perfect and the tuna was awesome. The service was also excellent.
I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the great service and delicious meal (I had the smoked salmon salad which was a generous portion and the vinaigrette was excellent). I enjoyed it so much that I decided to come back for dinner the next day. The service was fine, but unfortunately, the roasted salmon was a bit overdone and the Thai salad was too oily. Both dishes tasted okay, but they didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, I would consider returning for lunch based on my experience, but probably not for dinner. The restaurant has a nice ambiance inside and a sidewalk patio outside.
This was a great find. I stayed in Rosemont right near Masson St. and when I found this restaurant, I could not be more pleased. They have a Table d 'Hote which includes three services... an appetizer, an entree (main dish and daily dessert and coffee. All the soups I had were cold soups and each one was more delicious than the next. The entrees steak frites, hamburger (which was the best hamburger ever with pork belly on top! fish and chips, and others... were all so tasty! I really enjoyed the chef 's choices for desserts... sometimes creme puffs, grilled fruits, or some special take on everyone 's favorite ice cream!
After running around with my little niece and nephew to get a bite and this restaurant being 3rd on my list....it was a surprise to all of us. The menu was limited and being with young children that don't eat everything...I was unsure whether to stay there. We ordered a calamari to start...which was crispy and well cooked, the bread and spread was fresh and very good....my niece ordered fthe chicken tenders with fries which were more than enough for her but they were over cooked and the rest of us settled on the burgers....well...what a burger it was...Big, juicy, loaded! Too big to finish...almost. The fries are average and small portion relative to the burger. Not that cheap but definitely going back for that burger. E.njoy
So glad we tried the special 'entree ' for two: several delectable small portions of shellfish and seafood, prepared in such interesting ways! The mussels in a reduced sauce that included chorizo were heavenly! My main course of braised rabbit was delish (accompanied by interesting fall veggies). You will not be disappointed, but be warned your bill may be high. At least you get excellent quality for your dollar! Great service, too!
