The food is always delicious. The place is known for the egg Benedict which are quite something, especially the B.A.B (bacon, avocado and brie). Smoothies are also a delight. If you can take the wait, it is a really nice place to brunch. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Vieux Vélo:
It is a cozy restaurant with a nice ambiance and decoration. The service is good. Comparing to all breakfast places I tried in Montreal, this is an average/good place. I tried La Florentine for which was good but nothing special. Coffee was good but...again nothing extraordinary. View all feedback.
Only a vegan option, but it's pretty good. perfect when they go with non-vegan and not know where to go.
Only 1 option of vegan breakfast plate, but with everything you need: tofu rusty, sausages gusta lunch, salad, potatoes, toast. with possible fruit or avocado supplement, it is perfect! basic but good, as we would like to find in more omni-restaurants!
Very nice food but bit expensive as a branch.I would recommend to book for lunch.
Went there for brunch and had ‘Poutine Déjeuner’, B.A.B and ‘Atlantique’.Potatoes were burnt and dry a bit but the poached eggs were good with the hollandaise sauce. There was a bit of smoke and food smell inside.
Came to see on a quiet weekday what the hype is about I've seen 20 min+ queues on weekends . I had the much complimented eggs benedict, which were great! However nothing that outcompetes nearby brunch spots. Maybe a bit overhyped with the price point in my opinion. Presentation is quite simple. Service was excellent. Would not rush back here on the weekends for sure.
