Our family visited La Matraca on a Sunday night. We ordered queso fondue, tacos, jarritos, and jugo de jamaica. It was very delicious. Six tacos, plus two drinks, and an appetizer was $33. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Matraca:
a Mexican restaurant without chicken, without guacamole and without a knife. payable in cash only. half of the supposed beef in my tacos was actually pieces of meatless fat. The only thing I enjoyed it: my Coca-Cola... this is what I was brought when I ordered avocas. View all feedback.
I go there because their food is good, but the service is not satisfying at all. The server (girl) is very rude and racist. I went there many times already and she still give this attitude for no reason. She was being racist the whole times. I respect the kitchen who cooks the food because it’s delicious , but apart from that the service is very bad. Although I tried to order for pick up, but nothing change it’s still bad. I hope next time I visit, it will never be the same, but i don’t think there’s next time anymore.
I must say, the tacos at this restaurant are the best I have ever had in Montreal! The tortillas are always delicious and warm, and the meat is cooked perfectly and incredibly juicy. I love that they provide three different types of salsas with varying levels of spiciness, allowing you to enjoy different flavors with each taco. I always make sure to order the Horchatas as well, as they pair perfectly with the bold and spicy taco flavors. Additionally, they are incredibly refreshing and taste like a milky heaven. I highly recommend trying the tacos pastor, suadero, and chorizo. I will definitely be returning every time I visit Montreal.
Excellent authentic tacos. It's always a pleasure to come and eat there.Los suaderos and the pastor con quesos are amazing.Perfect place for a diner with friends, family, or a cute date.Just a few minutes of the Metro Mont-Royal on St-Denis Street. Right on the REV bicycle path.
My favorite Mexican resto in Montreal. The El Pastor authentic tacos and cheese quesadillas are delicious. The flan is also great. Today the waitress was alone during a busy time so service required a bit of patience yet she nonetheless was amazingly friendly and attentive.
Delicious and affordable tacos that are satisfying and filling. I have visited this restaurant multiple times and always leave feeling happy.
