Had a reservation for 7:30 and was promptly seated. No server stopped by and after 20 minutes we asked for one..said it would be a few more minutes. After another 5 minutes we left and went to the Keg. The Keg always has consistent service...and great food. This was my last trip to Houston’s. View all feedback.
What Santa Wisozk doesn't like about Houston Avenue Grill Square Victoria:
i waited 4 hours and my food never came. They tried to print me 2 different cheques neither of which had either of the two drinks I ordered. The food looked great but my meal never came so i cant really comment on that. The manager (short skinny guy) brushed me off, ran into the kitchen, then tried to explain to me that waiting this long is normal. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The 16oz Rib steak was cooked perfectly.
The food was excellent, service was quick and friendly, the ambiance was nice, and the location was fantastic!
The fast service at this restaurant is excellent - you won't be left waiting for your food for too long, and it always tastes delicious.
Had a great evening with colleagues, can't wait to go back. Tuna salad, amazing and they serve a great Martini the sixed one was as great as the first.
Absolutely wonderful experience the food (I had the prime rib with a lobster tail and a glass of Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon and my wife had ribs) was done to perfection, the service was attentive, and the price fair. An excellent dining experience in our beloved downtown Montreal after a few hours walking in the city.
