Bagel bagel bagel, yes that's what you hear when you visit the plateau region of mount royal of montreal! Situated in the vibrant neighbourhood, this place sees a huge rush all the time. You have a lot of options to choose from, there are vegan options too. You get the spreads like butter and others over there. The bagels are reasonably priced. Must try in montreal! What Monia Colombo doesn't like about Fairmount Bagel:
The bagels are fine...not bad, but not out of this world gotta have it great either. They're not any better than I've gotten anywhere else. It didn't really live up to the hype. Especially when you realize you stood in line only to be crammed into a tiny room with one register that only accepts credit cards when your total is $20 or more. I ended up paying with my US $5 bill...at least I had that. We definitely walke... View all feedback.
Another must visit when in Montreal. This bagel was delicious, a little less sweet than that other famous one in Montreal.Pro tip: Get some delicious gnocchi next door to dip the bagels in that delicious sauce!
Not sure I understand the fame and the lines out the door and down the street. I mean, I like that their bagels are only 180 calories somehow, instead of the normal 320 360, but we ordered a wide variety of bagels and were under impressed by their quality and consistency. The whole wheat sesame bagels were *extremely* dry and tasteless, the plain bagels put a capital P on Plain. The onion bagels were delicious, but I credit the onion more than the bagel. The garlic smell great (will have one later today, have high hopes). The blueberry bagel I had was INCREDIBLE. Which begs the question why are they all not incredible? Same/similar process, no?Wife got the rosemary bagels, the direct inspiration for Hamilton New York 's *excellent* bagel joint Flour Salt ... sorry, Fairmount. Not bad, but Hamilton outdoes you handily with their EPIC rosemary and salt bagel.Whole family left unimpressed. Daughter crinkled her nose, didn 't even want to finish hers. Lot of bagels in Mile End go somewhere else, probably. Or maybe I just caught them on a bad day?

Stopped by to try their bagels as it was highly recommended. We ordered several bagels and they were all delicious. The sesame seed ones were hot since they were recently made. This isn’t a place where you can have a sit and eat. It’s a grab and go establishment. They have an assortments of cream cheese and spreads. Service was great. HIGHLY Recommend!!!
Could see a whole lot of locals and people from out of the city queue up here patiently to get a hold of their Bagels! They had a nice array of menu ranging from Chocolate Chip to Garlic to Onion to all dressed.I particularly liked the Garlic Bagel it has a very strong aroma my car smelt like Garlic for 3 Days straight! But it was just wonderful!I'd really suggest this for anyone who wants to have an original bagel experience! The Queue gets really long but moves faster though!
