The food and service was great with friendly staff and plenty of parking. I make it a point to visit every time I'm in Montreal. Breakfast menu has wide variety to choose from, fruit is fresh, delicious smoothies, pancakes, omelettes...staff always go above and beyond...More View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Eggs Fruitti:
We were 3 for breakfast on a Sunday, place was busy, but we were greeted nicely and shown to a table quickly. Waitress was very pleasant, but did not inform me that although I did not want the meat that came with my breakfast, I would still be charged for it, so I was a bit surprised when we got the bill. Everything came as ordered, and was OK. Not great, just OK. I do not think we will go back. View all feedback.
This breakfast spot, which used to be enjoyable, has now declined in quality. My friend's eggs were not cooked properly and were sent back twice without any improvement. When the server brought her boss to our table, he talked rapidly and wouldn't let her speak. There are other places where you can find better-cooked eggs.
Mostly the usual combinations of eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc...but they do wow you with some of the presentations. Always fresh. Good neighbourhood joint. Weekends are always packed with people and usually a line-up. Great for families.
It was not worth the extra cost to switch the bacon for sausage in the All-America breakfast, especially since they were priced the same on the menu. As a result, we have not gone back to this restaurant.
We arrived at noon to Meet up with friends , on a Sunday , pretty busy but our friends got there first and reserved 2 seats for us . We started with The usual coffee , mass produced so so coffee , and I asked for a glass of water which never came . Then we ordered : ordered one egg , some fruit , and rye bread no butter , my husband ordered the oatmeal which came with mixed fruit and brown sugar . Our friends ordered similar brunch . The waitress was quite mixed up but it worked out in the end . It’s Sunday and she was way overwhelmed I’m sure !
A flat tire led my 3 year old and me to find this fantastic family restaurant. While we waited for a place across the street to fix our car, we stopped in for breakfast. I’m so glad we did. At 9am on a Saturday, Eggsfrutti was full of families. Service was efficient and thoughtful clearly having lots of experience with kids. For example, they brought my daughter’s juice in a take out cup with a lid, and made her a grilled cheese even though it wasn’t on the menu. The food was not fancy, but it was perfect. We will be back.
