Cafe Lulu - Montréal

The best old-fashioned cafe we found in Montreal. Delicious baked goods, a nice selection of enormous fresh-made crepes, excellent coffee. Well-kept and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If I lived in Montreal I would be in Cafe Lulu nearly every day.

The staff members are exceptionally nice here, and kind to people who want to speak French but make mistakes. The coffee cups are generous, and the food is very good as well!

Forever happy that I decided to come here for breakfast in my last day of Montréal. The owner was such a great person to meet and talk with. He is nice, polite, and very eager to make sure your experience is amazing. The prices were great! Even though the location can sketch some out, all the clientele I saw come in were mostly tourists, families, etc, I never felt uncomfortable for a minute. Latte was the best I've had, honestly, and the bagel was great. I watched the staff interact with many other customers and they were always happy to help in anyway, translating the menu, making modifications, etc. Also- the smell when they start making the crêpes is just amazing. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, I almost didn't want to leave ahaha. Out of an area with many corporate chains, I reccomend you check out and support here for a true Montréal experience. It was a good restaurant and I went there based on Google reviews but this is not great. The staffs are so friendly and welcoming, and the variety in menu is good, however the food is average. The size of the portions is fair and big enough.

We had brunch here on the last day of our trip. The bagel sandwich that warmed it up was just what we wanted! It's a small cafe, but the service has a very big heart.have morning coffee here and you will have a nice day.
