What Michele Hunter doesn't like about Cellini's Submarine House:
The sub was good but the employee that was working today became unhinged when a customer rang the bell for service. Mind you he rang it once, not twice or continuously. She came from the back and called the man a ****! The interaction between the employee and the customer escalated rather quickly. Her reaction to him ringing the bell was way out in left field. First and last time for us! View all feedback.

Although the subs were ok the service was another story. This lady was going off on some guy for ringing The service bell calling the guy a dick head and calling him all kinds of names. The guy didn't help the situation because he was yelling back but I must say if someone called me a dick head for ringing the service bell for service I would have went off also. The lady behind the counter was a total wack job and was completely out of line.
Go some place else! There are SO MANY GREAT options in Williamsport (EVEN JUST DOWN THE ROAD). Dont waste your money here.
Let me start by saying this had long been a favorite local stop for us. The last time we were in, the hoagies were not great. But we thought it was an anomaly. So we went back. We called ahead to order for pickup. We were told it would be 30 minutes, which is a tad on the long side for this place on a Sunday night. We arrived 45 minutes after we ordered. We were rather rudely told our food was not ready- and we would need to wait. When we did get our food- a full hour after we ordered it- the woman (I think she's the owner) made a quip about not enough staff. She thanked me for my patience but did not apologize. I was really put off by the service, but was willing to accept it because of the yummy hoagies. My son's meatball was great. He loved it. It was hot and the perfect mic of sauce, meat, and cheese. I wish I could say we all had such a meal, but we did not. My husband had a turkey club. For $11+ dollars, you would think there would be more than one slice of bacon. You would be wrong. My daughter had a cheesesteak in the garden. It was 75% lettuce. And about 10% steak. I ordered a local favorite: the Cheese Cosmo. Again, a whole head worth of lettuce. But that was not what killed this for me. The Cheese Cosmo's appeal is that it is hot, melted cheesy goodness. My Cosmo looked like it was in the oven for 30 seconds. The cheese was not melted. You can clearly see the individual slices. I couldn't even eat it. I rarely write a bad review. I always try to support local businesses. And this one was particularly hard to write. But this was just awful. I gave it one star because of my son's meatball hoagie.
Always looking for a place to get a cheese cause more when I come to Central PA. I live three hours away and no one knows would have cheese Cosmo is where I live. And no one in my area uses hoagie pepper spread. I called a couple places before calling this one. They had exactly what I wanted so I pre-ordered. Their sign says legendary substance 1958. it was just what I was looking for. The Cosmo had just the right amount of cheese and it was melted to perfection. A lot of places do not melt the cheese enough. Only one big complaint, and one small one. Little complaint, could you use the little bit more lettuce and tomato. Bigger complaint, if you want something different on the opposite side they have to charge you for a 2 halves instead of one whole even though you're taking everything off. So it's costing them less to charge you more. I got a cheese Cosmo fully loaded and the opposite side was only mayonnaise and cheese (picky kids). Same happens if you get no onions on one side. That one downfall will be the one reason I look for someplace else next time I come down. Does not mean I won't be back just means I'm still looking for that perfect place. Would have given five stars if it wasn't for that price issue.
