Best bar in town and 2. best iw ever was. the bartenders and owners are amazing

Yesterday, I visited Montgomery, Missouri to catch up with an old friend I hadn't seen in a while. We decided to stop by the Dry Dock bar for a drink and to check out the menu, but we never made it that far. From the moment we stepped inside, we were met with scowls from the bartender and other patrons. Clearly not dressed like the locals, it was evident that we were unwelcome in their establishment. Experiences like this tarnish the reputation of small towns and their welcoming residents. I would recommend not wasting your time or money on this uninviting and dirty little bar.

In a quiet town with little to offer, gathering at the beloved Drydock for $1.75 drafts has become something of a tradition.

The atmosphere is fantastic and the bar has a charming vibe. I really enjoyed the layout and the pool table. The overall ambiance was great. I did notice that the bartender was taking shots with the customers, which wasn't a big deal, but it seemed like quite a few shots were being served. However, when we received our bill, she tried to overcharge us by nearly $10. Thankfully, we were sober enough to catch it, but it was disappointing to see her and her friends benefiting from free shots at our expense.
