I recently had the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. The artichokes and fries were wonderful as well. However, the chowder could use a bit more clam flavor and less potato flavor. We enjoyed our lunch on the wharf, which offered a beautiful view. The restrooms were clean, and the overall atmosphere was very inviting. View all feedback.

I visited this restaurant for dinner after Monterey Car Week, as it was recommended by our hotel. If this is any indication of the seafood dining options in Monterey... View all feedback.
Great experience. friendly waiter, great service, delicious dishes and an amazing view. I loved my ahi tuna dish, the clasp chowder was also delicious. the place is worth it, I love everything about it.
Love the ambience, the people are very friendly. Love the food. I ordered the fried Oyster! Loved it! Get to sit by the windows with the view. Will definitely come back.
We had an excellent experience with dinner here. The server was funny and knowledgeable, the food was delicious to boot. The chowder was better than anything you’ll find over in the pier, that’s for sure. The Dabs were excellent and fresh. And the penne was delicious, the scallops inside were as good as the best I’ve ever had.
Yes, this is a tourist-filled restaurant on the wharf in Monterey, but also yes, they live up to their good reputation based on others reviews. I was in town for a conference and wanted to enjoy some seafood while touring the waterfront. I was seated immediately at a window table, and my waiter promptly attended to me (sometimes solo diners can be ignored or given second class treatment). I chose oysters for an appetizer and sand dabs for my main course. Both were lovely. My waiter was very attentive despite how busy they were and even spent a little time chatting with me, also talked me into dessert. Great experience overall.
My favorite casual seafood spot in Monterey. The seafood is fresh, the whole menu is fairly priced, and the service is fast and professional. The last time I stopped in for lunch I had a Cup of Clam Chowder, the Sand Dabs Appetizer plate and a Coke for less than $30 with tax. Two thumbs up for me.
