We are going every years at this BBQ. After 4 years this one was the most disappointed. Not much of variety. The quality is ok but use to be outstanding. It looks like a cowboy style BBQ but for 62$ by person you would expect munch more than fry chicken and pulled pork. The plate are aluminium cookies tray, look like a cheap cafeteria. Pros: Excellent location with a ton of outdoor activities included in hotel prices (compulsory 40$/pers). : Outdated rooms and too much lower key flexer in this facility. Rooms: Old rooms like all old hotels. No renovation in planning. Walkability: Montebello village is not fat away, 10 15 minutes walk. Rooms: 3
Fairmont Montebello I was in many hotels in Canada Fairmont, this is probably my favorite! Beautiful scenery and many activities to do, I can sit the winter in the main hall with the heart-lit and a beautiful drink from the bar. Overall incredible and looking forward to return! Beverages: The dining room is world class
The service was rushed. Wine cork broken while uncork, unapologetic waitress. The waitress also asked if we could move under the awning to a table because it began to rain and was said to speak with the hostess and went away. Generally good food, but service could have been more friendly than we have a simple table. Had a rebooking on our last day and decided to cancel.
You can blame COVID and staff issues, but the service was simply appalling. Definitely not up to Fairmont standards. View is very nice, food is good. Drinks “ok”. Pricing is high but would be fine if the service was up to par.
