Thanks to prior reviews, we had dinner here prior to a concert at The Wellmont, which is a very short walk away, and was the perfect choice. We arrived at 5:30 and were sat promptly. I loved the tablet menu! The server was friendly and brought water quickly. What Philip Weiß doesn't like about Ah'pizz Montclair:
This is a casual Italian restaurant (I think there are several locations and they make coal or wood fired pizza. One time somebody messed up our order but in general you cannot go wrong here. In fact tonight, my friend said he had the best salmon dinner he ever had. My chicken parm sandwich was good and our other friend wolfed down his shrimp over angel hair linguini. Delicious food. we wanted a show near and ordered several appetizers. we bought our own wein. the food was really delicious
VIoleta was our server and very attentive to us. We had a pizza to start off which waas delicious. Two had the Chicken Milanese, we had Caprese salad and meatballs with ricotta and Chicken with the best ever vegetable mix. Generous portions and lots of leftovers to enjoy tonight! A great experience overall
First time here. Great service, nice dining room. Had the flatbread appetizer really good, great fir sharing. Lots if garlic but not overpowering. We had the eggplant parm entree and rigatoni with vodka sauce all I can say is we left there fat and happy and ready for a nap!! Super delicious we’ll def come here again.
I wish they had wings like the Wayne Restaurant. But different from that. It was great
Service was great. Table seat not so great. An open table in the window was present, but they sat on bathrooms.
