Was Charlene Briones Michelena at Tapsi Ni Vivian a mag?
I remember being a teenager after hours and eating hear. Times has definitely changed but this place remains steadfast with the same good simple food (and price) one enjoys. View all feedback.

I LOOOOVE TAPSI NI VIVIAN! We usually go here after our shift (which is a night shift) so it's morning and the servers are not tired yet! haha kidding. They are really nice but sometimes forgetful in terms of the bill. But since we are a good citizen of the Philippines, we always let them know if there's something wrong with the bill. My personal fave is the tapa of course. Leche Flan, Graham, and Chicken. In terms of the place, I sooooo love the place. there's coi fish inside. You can feed them btw! You just have to buy fish food from the counter. It can also be an open area or closed so you can enjoy eating with ac on or nah. There is also a parking space near the place if there are no more parking space in front of the store.

I always go here during rainy days. I always love their savory goto. Perfect for the rainy season. Partnered with tokwa't baboy and hard boiled eggs. Talking about your typical comfort food. They nailed it.

We frequent this place because it is along our usual route. My mom swears not to return because she didnt like the sweet dinuguan. Tapsi was inconsistent, like what other reviews say. But I think they have changed cook/s lately because food has gotten better. I still don't order the tapsi because i might get dissapointed so I always go for the lechon silog which is done right and the order is huge. We have discovered that some dishes are good such as binagoongan, kinilaw, bicol express. If they can keep the way food is cooked now maybe old customers will return.

Tapsi ni Vivian is our default dinner place when we want quick, affordable food. They were extremely busy and packed last Saturday night that even the new parking area was full. Luckily, a parking slot opened up as we were waiting in front of the restaurant. They were focused on dispatching orders and there was a bit of a wait before anyone could take ours and we could sit down. Almost all tables were occupied anyways or needed bussing out. We each got a Tapsilog. The tapa was still as good, slightly salty, slightly sweet. I immersed them in the vinegar and it tasted even better. We love how the tapa makes the vinegar flavorful as well that we put it on our tasty garlicky rice. Hubby's fried egg was dry but mine wasn't. The Ampalaya with Egg was seasoned just right and the bitterness was manageable. The Lumpiang Togue wasn't crunchy anymore but hubby found it ok. The Crab Relleno looked burnt and overcooked but the filling wasn't. It still tasted great especially for the price. I forgot to ask for catsup though. It was a full house and there were lapses in service. They didn't give us utensils when they served the food. They must have been stuck in the dishwashing area as we asked 3 times. No complimentary soup. They probably ran out because I saw piping hot bowls of soup being circulated when we were done. It took a while for the soy dish, calamansi and sili to arrive. By the time they reached our table, we had already poured the vinegar into one of the serving containers. Total damage for this meal was around P400 including a can of soda and 1 cup extra rice. Despite the hiccups in service, we will still go back for their delicious and affordable dishes. *the airconditioning units weren't turned on. Come to think of it, we've never seen them turned on.
