Il Caminetto - MONTAIONE

I remembered this place although I hadn't been back for years. The disappointment concerns above all the scarcity in the courses, appetizers and first dishes and we were more hungry than before. in the second dishes we had to recommend to have a steak from km 1,8 otherwise they brought two for equal weight, trippa slavata in broth and not as we eat it to Tuscany. Sorry because all in all quality and price are not bad, even the boys to serve young and willing.......but we are not there.

Good food is good and the cute place, nothing special as menu. Surely if you happen around there you can stop for lunch or dinner. excellent value for money: mixed appetizer, second, sweet and water €25.

The meat melts in the mouth, the very good tiramisu and the impeccable service. we will return

We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary in Tuscany with our family and were recommended Il Caminetto as a great place to eat. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant doesn't look that impressive from outside but when you walk through the doors, it is absolutely gorgeous and you can't fail to be impressed. We had the most wonderful evening, excellent food, superb service from the staff and an atmosphere to die for. It was terrific. But, don't take my word for it, if you are in this area of Tuscany, go and find out for yourselves. Thank you to everyone at Il Caminetto for making it a night to remember.

Amazing eating and service. taste absoulutely amazing, although there is a bit of time for it to come to the table. except it was great. would recommend
