Beautiful welcoming team here.. will move our booking forward when we arrived early from the 3 burgen to foot. so pleased that they did so, as it enabled us to enjoy one of the best meals I have eaten for a long time. excellant boil in fact.lovely crumbled crusted lambweb and confit shoulder with lamb knistern, masche and scabbard green with a garlic and thymian jus.simply stunning. all other meal times in our group met with similar comments from venison and duck to Hake dishes. I think I'll keep it secret. cannot wait to return. Thank you!

What a fantastic pub! a typical place pub with very friendly staff and locals. Sunday dinner was perhaps one of the best I've ever tried. highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

The whole family (and dog) to this charming pub/restaurant in grosmont, outside of abergavenny. real old place, but warm and friendly inside. we had appetizers, bark roasts and desserts, all tellers empty what all says. of a charming young lady who could not have done more. many thanks for a great experience, we will be safe again.

A big thank you to Chloe, Jim, Margie, and the entire team for consistently delivering amazing food, a great drink selection, a fantastic atmosphere, and live music. We recently enjoyed a Sunday roast for a party of 10, and it was delicious with all the trimmings. The service was top-notch as always. Additionally, my husband and I had our wedding in the village this summer, and the pub warmly welcomed our guests who stopped by upon arrival. The pub hosted us for another roast dinner with around 30 guests, and everyone was equally impressed by the meal. The live music in the afternoon was also wonderful. The Angel Inn is truly the best pub around!
