What User dislikes about Gabriella Pizza:
I literally live 100 metres away from the restaurant.I placed an order at 6:15 and it didn't arrive until 8:45! (The ETA when i ordered was 40 minutes)And to top it all off the pizza was rubbery, bland, and barely lukewarm.Frozen pizza from Coles is nicer. Avoid!! View all feedback.

The last of the original Koornang Rd Pizza joints!Very nice pizza and no hassle to customize for your liking, if your a Hawaiian pineapple pizza person, this place has the best one.If your a Vegetarian, get the "Vegetarian" with added pineapple & onion and it will be great.I always put Tabasco on mine so give it go, they usually dont even charge for additional toppings either.I think the "Family" size slices are a bit too big though, if your really hungry mix it up and get a couple "Medium" or whatever. The pizza sizes here are what theyre supposed to be, actually a Medium from this place is "bigger" than some of the newer places Large size! Also nice courtyard in the back.I remember my first pizza when i move to Carnegie in 1997, hangin out in the coin laundry nearby waiting for delicious pizza!Yum!
Gabriella's is our preferred pizza place in Carnegie. As other reviewers have mentioned they serve great pizzas and certainly don't scrimp on the toppings. Always friendly service.
The original and the best pizza in Carnegie. Don't be fooled by the others or put off by the old-style decor at Gabriella, Sam & his staff make THE best pizza with lashings of fresh toppings... Delicious and perfect every time. The Gnocci Gorgonzola melts in your mouth, add a Greek salad for a complete meal and finish with a home made chocolate mousse. Great night in!
In this world of mass-produced pizza from large chains, we found Gabriella Pizza by chance and are so happy we did. It is reminiscent of the old-style pizza place run by an extended family. And apparently it has been a Carnegie institution for decades. The pizza bases are made by hand and tossed to be lovely and light. The toppings are fresh and abundant. And the staff are wonderful. Great for eat-in (cosy eat-in area with plenty of parking out the back) or take-away (and they home deliver).

Loved our Pizza and very happy with the prompt service. Quality ingredients, hot when delivered and fairly priced. Best local pizza shop by far.
Poorly run business. Advertising online for takeaway delivery, accepting an order and proceeding to inform that order is being “prepared”. An hour and a half later informed that they are not accepting orders for delivery. Even now they are still advertising online for delivery. At a time when businesses are struggling to survive you would think more care would be taken when advertising yourself and how customers are treated. The positive outcome was that I did not get charged and ended up finding a better restaurant. This wasn’t our first time here so I know what the pizzas are like, and whilst they can do a good pizza it’s nothing to write home about. Good luck with your business plan guys.
We have had a terrible experience with this company. We have now waited two hours for the arrival of our pizza. Have tried calling the company several times where the person we called was extremely dismissive and unhelpful. They kept telling us either the order was on its way or it is the problem of the delivery service and you should contact them, yet refused to take any accountability for their own restaurant. Refusing any kind of refund, refused to resent the order and not giving any information as to where our food is. Appealing service and extremely disappointing.
We went there for take away pizza. We ordered one large pepperonie special pizza with small fettuccini avocado pasta. When we picked up the pizza then straight to got home had second piece of pizza I found blond hair stuck in middle of crust part. I do u derstand it 's just human being. So I just grab another pieces while eating it middle of part I found another long blond hair were melting with cheese and toppings. My husband called this place and explain then they asked us to bring it back to them then they will bake new pizza for us without apologies. We went back to the place and picked up new one then back home just had one pieces of slice. Suprizely we found long blond hair under neath of the pizza again. We lost our tastes just went back to the place then as soon as we get into there. The man who looks like owner of this shop came to us and said he already gave us free pizza and it can not be happen two times in a row. And also he said it 's your hair(well we 've got a black hair Don 't play with me Go consumer affair Do what ever you want that 's what he said to us : at the end he asked us that do we have a pet at our house.(we don 't have any pet he refuse to refund it. While having this stupid argument he gesture to hit my husband. I was so shock! They don 't know how to apologize to customer and don 't know how to understand what they 've done. At the end we got our refund and being told off from his wife or daughter. When we walked away they did hi five each other. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. If anyone wants hairy pizza? Here is the best :
After a long absence I renewed my contact with this place of long standing in Carnegie. With removal of the railway gates and the hold ups they caused in getting down Koornang road, I went back after many years and it was worth it! Delicious Pizza with plenty of filling and very reasonable cost. I will be buying my pizzas there from now on.

The best pizza in Carnegie, hands down. I ordered a small Hawaiian for $12 and was impressed with the good quality ham and fresh, sweet pineapple. The crust and base had a nice chew to it, even the next day. The staff at the store were very friendly. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.
This place in Carnegie offers the best pizza around. Their menu has a wide variety of delicious options and they also have a full bar. The staff is incredibly friendly too.
This classic pizzeria is a must-visit, with its mouthwatering aroma that fills the air as you approach. The toppings are delicious and the crust is perfect. While the dine-in area may be cozy, it's worth it for the amazing pizza. Be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times, but it's a testament to the quality of the pizza.
3.5<br/ <br/ When the mercury hits 40°C and beyond, there’s no reason to slave over a hot stove in the kitchen so it was a pizza night for us via UberEats.<br/ <br/ We each picked one me: Hot Chikita (the pizza of course) and my partner: Vegetarian with added bacon and chicken.<br/ <br/ Now, there has been a bit of a pissing competition going on between us as he keeps reminding me of the poor food choices I’ve made lately. Currently with three strikes under my belt, I was determined to prove him wrong this time. Childish I know but hey, aren’t we all young at heart?<br/ <br/ Well, well, well... my pizza in all its glory of hot salami, minced beef, garlic and chilli amongst other standard toppings trumped his! Yesss!!<br/ <br/ Fist pumping aside, his pizza wasn’t all that bad, it just paled in comparison to mine in terms of taste. It was still a decent pizza with its light, airy crust and fresh generous toppings, but probably not one we’d order again.<br/ <br/ Anyway, pair all that cheesy delight with a crisp cold beer or soft drink under the air conditioning, and you have yourself one no sweat feast on a hot night!
My New Regular Spot!<br/ <br/ This place does amazing pizza. The dough is so light and soft, decent toppings, delicious sauces. Can't fault the pizza in any way.<br/ <br/ I've been to many places for Pizza in Melbourne, including Gradi 400 which won an international competition, and to be honest, the pizza here tastes BETTER!<br/ <br/ It's a small cozy shop with friendly staff. Will definitely be coming here every time I'm craving Pizza.<br/ <br/ Highly Recommended
