First visit here left me disappointed as we were charged £4 more than the already expensive prices for just two pints and a soft drink. When later challenged, after asking about the price of each item, the difference was refunded without explanation. View all feedback.

Excellent dinner (1 x rump steak and 1 x Chicken Mushroom pie), followed by the vest home-made trifle we have had in a very long time.

Nestled in scenic surroundings, this charming local pub boasts a varied menu, from hearty pub classics to delightful Sunday roasts. Patrons appreciate the friendly atmosphere and attentive service, highlighted by generous portions and quality ingredients. While some noted inconsistent experiences regarding pricing and decor, the overall consensus celebrates the warm hospitality and delectable offerings. Diners enjoy the picturesque outdoor seating and commend the establishment for its successful takeaway service, particularly for the expertly prepared Sunday meals. With a welcoming spirit and a commitment to good food, this pub stands out as a beloved destination for both locals and visitors alike.
