Taverna Nicastro - Modica

Amazing dinner last night! Traditional Sicilian cooking. Prices were very good. Wine selection was nice. Sausage/pork and Rabbit stew was outstanding. I highly recommend this place to eat at when you are in Modica.

A great restaurant in Modica. Perfect for traditional Sicilian food. It feels like you have been invited to your family for Sunday lunch. Delicious pasta and arancini. Also loved the sausages.

A lovely Sicilian dining experience on the steps of Modica. We chose the tasting menu and every mouthful was a delight! In fact, we struggled to finish it all and ended up taking some home to enjoy! The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole evening very enjoyable!

Excellent, fresh, local, traditional REAL Sicilian food. Great value for money, fast and friendly service. Highly recommend.

We went with some friends to eat at this Trattoria. We took one antipasto for everyone to start and a main each. The antipasto was Ok the arancini were amazing. The ricotta and the salsiccia too. The scacce not so much, I’m sure they can work on it and do it 100% better than the last time. All the mains were really good. The ravioli and cavatelli with the sugo di maiale are delicious, a part of the tradition they remember me the way that my grandmother were doing it for us nephews. The patatine fritte are home maid! The wine it was red home wine super nice and perfect temperature! The best part of this restaurant is Nunzia, the waitress. Super fast, finally! Super helpful, kind, friendly, smiley, professional. We passed a very nice evening!
