Moonpie General Store - Mobile

This place is pretty cool. Quaint little place that has all sorts of retro things. From trinkets to candy to an old Fashioned Soda Fountain. It has something for everyone, the ice cream and desserts are decadent and they even serve dinner type food. They even have a Moonpie Burger. I choose to opt for the Crazy Fries, loaded with chicken, cheese, and three types of sauces. So freaking good. Definitely make this a place to stop and check out when downtown, well worth the visit just to check it out or to grab a bite to eat.

This store has billboards on I-10-so we finally decided to stop visit the Mobile location....It's not the most visible/easiest place to find....The store has signage, but isn't visible from the street level....it's on the corner of the building 3-4 floors up....Not sure who thought that was a great idea....The store is actually located inside a larger building...just a little fyi...

What's not to like about Moon Pies? This is the first time I have seen a Moon Pie General Store (it's actually a small chain). I had to check it out and I wasn't disappointed. Not only do they have a great selection of Moon Pies, their food service was very good. Only regret is not buying more of the Salted Caramel Moon Pies.

This place has the best burger downtown. The staff are always nice and friendly and there's plenty to look around at in the store while you wait.

Staff was very friendly. They guided us to a pizza place we were looking for and even walked out of the store to show us where to go. We came back there afterwards for ice cream. Also grabbed some rocks for the little one.
