Consistently great Tex-Mex and excellent service. Staff is wonderful, prices very reasonable. Margaritas refilled almost telepathically. Try the spinach enchiladas, the enchiladas suizas, and the mole. View all feedback.
What GW Ch doesn't like about Casa Vaqueros:
Food was bland and portions small for the cost. The chips were extremely greasy. The sauce in the cup was good. I can't continue to support this business if items like guacamole and sour cream don't come with plates. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
Went in for lunch. We were greeted and seated right away. Our service was excellent. We had about 2 servers and they were polite. The homemade lemonade was ok but you can't go wrong with a Mexican coke. The food was delish. Big servings one person can share a fajita plate for one. I had started with tortilla soup which was a good taste and helped me with my hangover. The check was about 55$ for 2 of us. I had a fajita plate and my hubby had a combo plate with a soup and 2 drinks. Not bad prices. Overall great experience will be back again.
Disgusting. Disgusting sums up the taste of the food as well as the presentation. I ordered Texas Fajita Nachos and this is what I was presented. Not only was the dish not desirable in look, it had no flavor. I walked away disappointed.
First time to this restaurant based on its high rating. Ordered over the phone for pickup. The lady was nice and helpful so service is great. Portion size is great. The Chicken Quesadilla meal comes with beans and rice, pico, guac and sour cream. The beans was good but the rice was not tasty so I mixed the rice with beans and the combo was great. I was a bit disappointed at the quesadilla. It had too much chicken, which I wouldn?t complain about if the chicken was actually seasoned. Chicken to cheese ratio was off. Not enough cheese and the cheese was hardly melted. I wanted to like it but honestly it was just not good. I?ve had better quesadillas. I would give the Queso a 3. Maybe I?m just spoiled by the Queso from Torchy?s which is the best I?ve had so far. The cheese was well blended and somewhat tasty. However it got stiffer by the minute as it cooled off. Became too thick. Overall based on my personal experience with this particular Chicken Quesadillas I?d give this place a 2.5. I still recommend. Maybe other items on the menu are better. Just not the chicken quesadilla.
Came here as a big group, we were seated right away far away from the crowd which we are very thankful for due to our senior and kids members. The food was great and the servers were courteous and friendly. Love the food! We ordered 4 orders of chicken, shrimp and beef fajitas for 2. Each platter has so much it can feed up to 2-4. They were $40.99 per platter. Kinda expensive. I was surprised to be charged with the grater cheese and a small schoop of sour cream. Which they should have mentioned when I asked. A great experience still.
I ordered the spinach enchiladas and they are so creamy (surprisingly light)and taste like an explosion of deliciousness. The chips are fresh, the salsa was okay.
