This new restaurant is an incredible addition to the Johnson Drive Corridor! I really love the concept of combining food and flowers in a cozy market setting. The dishes we tried were outstanding, and the atmosphere is so charming! It's definitely worth a visit. View all feedback.
I still have to go to the market, but had brought food from Ad Astra. It was delicious. I know it was just a turkey sandwich, but the Pesto Mayo, rye bread and cucumbers made for a delicious combo. I was a little skeptical to order food when I saw that they make food flowers, but really not different from a peasant market or markets in Europe. I'm glad I didn't stop my reservations from trying something new... I would have missed a great find. Recommended.
I have had several lunches there and never disappointed. The BLT salad and Salmon salad are wonderful and the snack packs are just what I need in the middle of the day. Always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Very friendly.
I attended a grand opening for the ACA business club yesterday that featured the menu by Ad Astra. The food was refreshing and delicious. I need to know what the secret sauce was on the sandwiches. I can't wait to eat off the full menu when it is open for business. :
I walked in and bought an awesome white vase (made by another KC small business owner!! and asked for a flower arrangement be made for a client of mine for their open house. I had no idea what to do or what would look good, so relied on their expertise and touch. They were perfect! The flowers stayed fresh looking for weeks and got to keep the awesome vase.
Thank goodness a wonderful new cool shop on Johnson drive, great place for lunch and fresh cut flowers, LOVE IT!
