The Vintage Tea House - Miri

Unique restaurant where Pu’er tea is cooked with any dish. Owner said he studied properties of tea in China and found it for health so much that he even drinks Pu’er tea instead of water! Accessible by car with parking in front of the row of shops. We reached really late and past the lunch at 3 p.m., can see how a queue for lunch or dinner can form quantity.

All dishes taste wonderful and are all filled. Enough to feed the four of us and have plenty left. Definitely a must try when you visit this area of Miri.

Very cozy restaurant. Food and drinks are so delicious. Lady Chef is very friendly and very attentive to the needs of customers. We had a late dinner with our children just before their kitchen was closed. It is very nice to offer my children more homemade soup and additional dishes. Very appreciated the gesture, let us feel at home

An updated review at their new premises in Marina. They have retained most of their former menu and Sundays are still chicken rice days . Food is yummy as always and we enjoy the good quality pu er tea served. Our favourites are the chicken rice, stuffed tofu, butter pork, fried rice with tea leaves and meat rolls. Highly recommended but be prepared to wait for a table as they can get very busy at lunch time.
