Three of us visited here for dinner. There were not many people in the restaurant but it was a Wednesday evening. The staff were very friendly and spent a lot of time talking with us. Meals were good. The restaurant's decorations were 90% Thai and 10% Turkish, since it used to be a Turkish(I think) restaurant owned by the same owner. Made the decorations look interesting though. Spur of the moment decision - had been grocery shopping after work, didn't want to cook, decided to try Manee Thai. We got a bottle of wine from BWS then walked across to the restaurant. I had the coconut prawns for an entrée which were yummy, hubby had curry puffs which were hot and fresh. Main was chicken green curry with rice and chicken stir fry with cashews. The food was fresh, authentic and very tasty, service... View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant was both delicious and a great value. We ordered three dishes for three people and it was more than enough. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely recommend this place to our friends.
Had dinner with my son. we ordered curry buffers, duck pad see ew and a green chicken curry with some cocosery. the first thing that comes was the curry, now that happens quite often that they never have the tear with the...first porn. thai 9/10 times they put the rice then the main meal with the beautiful sauce, but no we had to wait. not even the curry buffers came yet. then the pad came to see that waiting for rice and curry puffs. then the rice came and the curry buffers last. the curry buffers were in order, only the old oil made this Entree average. the duck was over boiled, but the taste of the pads see ew was decent and so was the green curry. will not be back.
We are local to Manee Thai and I have to say the food is very good especially the fried rice. The massaman curry is flavoursome but could use more potatoes. My only negative is the price of the dishes it is quite expensive. A chicken...fried rice plus one dish cost close to $30.00 but it is delicious food
After a week of clearing up Garden. A meal was planned to dine Manee. Finally we are here. Presentation and Serving is reasonable for Price. The way the beef was cooked it felt like it came from frozen. And it wasn't tender. Restaurant atmosphere...appears to be like Fastfood. Lovely piped in music. Staff friendly and helpful. There was only thing I wasn't sure about was when asking for the bill. Apparently you'll need to get out of your seat to pay at the counter. Which is what the Aussies do. They don't wait for the bill unless it's fine Dinning. But everything else was alright.
