We went here for rooftop brunch for the first time on Sunday. Nice selection for a brunch buffet (pizza, breakfast sandwiches, sausage, bacon, potatoes, tater tots, French toast sticks, pancakes). Service was excellent and the rooftop patio was very nice. we will be back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sports On Tap:
A very rude bartender, at the end of the night only scream, threaten customers for NO reason, very unprofessional and tasteful also for a bar. Apart from that this last weekend it was good DJ was cool, drinks were cool, shots are tiny and probably not even a full shot. View all feedback.
My experience here was very disappointing. I come to this place every year to watch the NBA championship, so today it was on the rooftop. I remind you it is a sports bar. The rooftop only has 3 TVs, by the way, the first floor is close. I took the available seat that was there which was in the position of the middle seat, so the middle screen has college softball and the other two screens has NBA. I look around to see if anyone is watching softball which I did not see so I ask could they could change the channel. The answer I got was that some people were watching it. Then I find out the people that were watching were to the left and front of me and left of the middle TV from my view they were in front of the left TV. I ask could they switch the college softball from the middle TV to the left TV and the answer was no. The people that were seated at that table were not watching the college softball game, they were drinking, eating, and having a conversation among themselves. Also, I found out that there was a manager at that table that was drinking and giving instructions to employees which is unprofessional. Observing that same table that the manager was seating at. Everyone, there was drinking alcoholic beverages did not have a red wristband to say they had been verified to be over 21 years of age. I do not recommend no one to come to this sports bar to watch sports.
TERRIBLE first experience here! My friends and I have never been treated as poorly as both managers on duty and bartenders treated us. First my friend was sick from an eating disorder and puked in the bathroom (mind you she had ZERO drinks). The manager lady then proceeded to tell her she needed to leave for MAKING herself puke. Eventually the other bartender lady jumped in and told me to shut my mouth for backing up my friend. (Mind you this is all on video footage as well). Eventually they told her “ok you have one more chance”. We leave the bathroom and go proceed to have fun. I end up having a conversation with a guy in the bar and then i’m told I need to leave because I punched someone in the face. I asked for proof, they would NOT provide it. I asked multiple times for the video footage because if it happened, why can’t you show me?? They would not show me. They had 3 male security guards come and walk my friends and I all out of the bar. They then proceed to tell us we’re banned for 6 months. AGAIN, Why?? i’m very confused, disappointed, and ashamed in how they all handled the situation. Provided NO proof. They just banned us for no reason. This was my first time here and I’ve never been so disgusted with a business. I do not recommend this bar. There’s plenty of other bars in town to support rather than ones who falsely accuse you of doing something you never once did.
Went to Sports a couple weeks ago while visiting friends in Minot. I must say your DJ needs to go back to DJ school he is trash. The DJ they had about 6 months ago DJ Shonuff did his thing had it mixed for all types of people and ages…… I probably won’t go back till he is back. Rather listen to music in my iPod at my hotel than suffer through the DJ who was there a couple weeks ago
I always feel very welcome when I come here. The staff is fun and friendly. The roof is one of my favorites in ND. The wings are fire. Drinks are quite expensive. If you like to dance, get rid of and be a real mix of people, this is the place to party in Minot.
It's probably the only bar serving food around a hundred mile radius that's open after 10 p.m, nothing else to do in the small little town of Minot, North Dakota. f you're expecting quality bar food I'd set your expectations a bit lower then what you're probably used too in the cities. The servers are very kind even though there's something off about them like in the way they talk to you or the represent themselves. I don't know maybe it was a server I had I don't want to judge the rest of them base of the one interaction I had. Besides that it seems like all the local kids come here, so I'm sure you'll run into someone that you might like do you have a conversation with.
