Ted Cook's used to be decent BBQ.This is no longer true the ribs very small DRY drowned in sauce. For 15yrs total going for BBQ the side have never been that great but the past 5 yrs have been hit or miss but the last not completed miss!!!. I've been to Ted Cook's 19th hole off and on for the past 20yrs. Over that time I've either had better BBQ or Ted Cook's has declined. I will say that I was amazed the first time I tasted the medium spicy BBQ sauce. The most recent time 03JUNE2023 the medium spicy BBQ sauce was very underwhelming. This is a take-out only restaurant. The food is delivered fairly quickly.

You can only take out here, which is just fine, you are here for the food not the atmosphere.I have had red beans and rice in the south and these rival those. They are some of the best I've ever had.The BBQ is also some of the best I've ever had. Don't discount getting the chicken here. Its so tender and juicy with just the right amount of smoke. The ribs well, just try them they speak for themselves. Amazing.The sauce is unique you just need to try it. I am not a big bbq sauce fan I could drink this stuff its so fantastic.Don't skip out on some delish peach cobbler for dessert. It's a unique single layer crust with sweet juicy peaches.If you have an event, they do catering! Moses was incredibly helpful and the quantities were perfect for my group of 40 guys.
