they always have a rotating vegan scone available, amazing coffee, and very helpful staff. the reason why I have 3 stars is available for the lack of vegan bakery, but that can change in the future! View all feedback.
Had 1 vegan bakery item that was a scone. They did offer oat milk for their coffee's. The scene was a little dry and hard but overall good.
I’ve lived in the Twin Cities for 10 years, and I regret to say that today was my first visit to Isles Bun Coffee. I will 100% be back! I was blown away by everything. First of all, the vibes were immaculate inside. They were blasting Madonna, disco, and funky tunes. Truly great energy. My fiancée and I ordered a cinnamon bun, berry topped walnut coffee cake, iced chai, and iced coffee. The cinnamon bun was huge and only cost $5.50! Such a steal. It was fluffy, moist, decadent but not too sweet. We loved the cream cheese frosting and yeast based dough almost felt like a big brioche donut. The coffee cake was still warm and was a true delight. It was dense, crumbly, nutty, and both sweet and tart. The iced coffee was strong and the iced chai was cardamom forward.Overall, our expectations were exceeded, and we’d recommend a stop here any day! Especially on a warm spring or summer morning…
What a powerhouse of a bakery/cafe experience. Simple, streamlined menu with only solid hits. The staff were eager to assist, yet not impatient with new customers needing time with the menu. Lots of Madonna on the playlist. The cinnamon bun was huge and delightful. I love the hint of yeast in the bready portion contrasting with the tasteful amount of sweet and spice. The coffee cake deserves some love too, with its fruit and walnut crumble topping
The coffee is decent, but the bakery and food items are FREAKING DELICIOUS. They make everything fresh and you can smell it before even entering. The staff is super nice and helpful. I 100% plan on coming back to try every item on the menu. The quiche is everything.
Best local bakery in town, hands down. Homemade bakery items made right behind the counter. Cinnamon and caramel rolls the size of your FACE!! Rotating seasonal items as well. Be prepared to wait in line and know what you want. Street parking outside the shop.
