This relaxing neighborhood dive bar is exactly what you are looking for! The tater tots are some of the best in the city. It is easy to get to as it is on the Light Rail at 38th street station. The food is really good. But the general atmosphere and construction quality is not. Small tables and small chairs. No smoking inside, but the smoking area is right next to the main entrance between you and the parking lot. You have to wear the smoke when you go in or out. This is always our favorite place on vikings playingag. service is always fast and friendly. thanks to julie, rust, suzanne, allison and kayla to name some. bierspezialities and various event nights. eating is inexpensive and excellent juicy lucy’s. please support this local small business.

Great family owned business been going there for 20 years. Great food specials and pool tables darts. Always a good game on.
We had a great time! Stopped there on our way to the Vikings game. Convenient location right off the light rail. Servers were super friendly and welcoming, and it had a comfortable, jovial atmosphere. My dining companions both got the Jucy Lucy, and I got the turkey club. Clean plates all around! Definitely worth a stop!
It has been a while since getting a burger at The Cardinal which have been in the past top notch. Unfortunately our family's burgers did not live up to our experience from the past. My Juicy Lucy was anything but juicy. However, the wings and fries were terrific! And the ambiance was very good. We'll be back and hoping the burger experience was limited to our last trip there.
