Contribute FeedbackThe reviews for the restaurant "Bank" are mixed. Some customers complained about slow service, cold food, rude staff, and overpriced items on the menu. One reviewer even described it as the worst restaurant they have ever eaten at. However, other customers praised the unique setting inside an old bank, the delicious food, and attentive service. The Thanksgiving buffet was especially popular, with a variety of tasty options and friendly staff. Overall, opinions on "Bank" seem to vary, with some recommending it for a fun dining experience before a night downtown, while others suggest looking elsewhere for a better meal.
We've been here a few times for dinner and loved it, but just came across it on Open Table as an option for a Thanksgiving buffet. We made our reservation, and decided to head take a stroll down the new Nicollet Ave. before lunch. Once we arrived, the buffet was beautiful and bountiful. Chefs were carving turkey and ham, making wonderful omelets to order, and all the traditional Thanksgiving sides were amazing...maple glazed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, several roasted vegetables, salads, and a nice variety of pies, cakes, tortes. Our server was attentive, friendly and so sweet. When the manager visited, I asked about gluten free dessert options and since there were none he brought us mango sorbet with berries. I think this place just offers really great food and service is as it should be, attentive with a friendly, welcoming sense of hospitality.
We had a fantastic dinner. Pork tenderloin was excellent as was the soup. Very cool place in an old bank. Quiet Sunday evening dinner for us.
I always love eating at Bank. The food is delicious and the service is great!
