You can enjoy freshly picked local vegetables with a home-cooked taste. The set meal allows you to choose your favorite dishes and plate them for only 600 yen, which is a great deal. Of course, it comes with miso soup. I had ferns, fiddlehead ferns, carabuki (a kind of mushroom), bamboo shoots, new onions, and snow peas tempura, along with tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) and seaweed with vinegar dressing. The miso soup had mugwort mochi in it. The dishes change with the seasons, so please be aware of that. When cycling to Akiyoshidai, I always decide to have lunch here. It's more of a dining place than an okonomiyaki restaurant. If you happen to stop by Akiyoshido cave, be sure to visit.
This is a slightly different okonomiyaki, but the landlady cooked it right in front of us. The homemade dishes prepared in a buffet style were quite good. The landlady is talkative and friendly.
The kind and delicious aunt will cook you okonomiyaki and yakisoba in a wild style.
