Great local spot. Quirky, but wholesome. Ordered chips and salsa, chorizo and asparagus plate and one grilled veggie tamale. The asparagus was charred perfectly, the chorizo was crisp, homemade tortillas were warm, salsa was hot and chips were fresh. Plus margaritas were strong. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What Carolina Tygart dislikes about Canby Asparagus Farm Casa De Tamales:
Tamale flavors were not even close to the countries they were supposed to be. The place was super dirty, especially right after they just opened, looks like they didn’t clean them in a long while. After I tried to give my opinion about the food, they were very offensive and disrespectful. They mistreated their employees in front of us.Prices are very high.I do not recommend this place View all feedback.
The staff were quite rude and the service was poor, resulting in a very disappointing experience.
This quirky little gem in old town Milwaukie is sure to impress. For 17 years, this family-owned and operated restaurant has been serving up delicious food. Be sure to try their specialty, the nacatamal, along with their asparagus. You won’t regret it!
The farmer Charlie runs this restaurant, grows his own asparagus in Canby and has this restaurant in Milwaukee what he seems to operate after April when they're harvested.
Best food we've had in a long time. Restaurant had quaint atmosphere and owners were super friendly and fun to chat with. Will definitely be back!
I can't say enough good things about my experience here. The food was delicious. The owners were great and we laughed a lot. Entering the restaurant, you don't feel like you are in the city. I was transported to a little place in Mexico.
