Delicious food! We ordered 7 dishes for the 3 of us and it was so much food! It was all delicious. The staff were pleasant and attentive. Oh an on a rainy day the valet parking was great! View all feedback.
What SandyL doesn't like about La Merenda:
If we weren’t recently in Spain, dining on wonderful tapas, I probably would have given LaMarenda a higher rating. Now that I know how many of the same dishes should taste, LaMarenda didn’t really compare. View all feedback.
I want to like this place but you can't customize your order because everything is pre-made For someone that hates onions and is vegetarian that basically narrowed the menu down to two things that weren't anything special. I gave it a couple tries but the last visit being told nothing could be changed did it for me.
I finished a training class nearby and went the 5-7 minutes in the icy cold just to try La Merenda. So it's worth almost slipping and dying on ice because...
I have thought to return to La Merenda almost every day in the last 4 months. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is...
Very recommended. Tapas with a unique pairing of flavors that are so delicious. Very casual and welcoming atmosphere.
Although I can't stand the dividing partitions at the bar, the food at La Merenda is fantastic. Sarah took care of us, and her recommendations were right on. The menu covers the world, with dishes representing countries proud of their culinary traditions. We loved the Pistachio salad, Butter Chicken, the Sambal Goreng Udang, whose coconut milk mashed potatoes were orgasmic. Pricing was more than reasonable. Get rid of those partitions, and I'll be there every week. After living in Seattle, I don't need to be frozen out from humanity any more. Three years were enough. We all need to get closer. Tribalism isn't healthy.
