Ott's Tavern Millstadt Fish Stand

My family has gone to Ott's for 43 years and my last visit (last year) was terrible, food was good as always, but the owner was terrible for the customers and employees, I heard it was under new management and was convinced to return because I never said it was fabulous to say the least, food was as wonderful as always the staff was smiled and friendly even apologised to my son (er 2). We're going on.

My grandpa brought us children into the tavern to get an ice cream drumstick and Millstadt Fish (as we called it then and today) for the best food ever! We also have a red pop in bottles. Miss these times; love the memories. The food has always been fantastic. My sisters and I were in mourning when we heard that it was closed and my older sister literally called to tell me the good news when she heard it was reopened! This is my third time to be back at Oklahoma's home since the new owners took over. They are ingenious; very personable, hired friendly staff and have attention to the details. I think the food is even better than before. Today we are here at 4:00 to hit the crowd there, there were already many people there. It's really my favorite place to eat all over the world!

Since a small child to the Millstadt Fish Stand. Years ago, my grandmother, her children and we all grandchildren would eat our plate under the water tower. The taste remains the same. Many improvements in the old place including air conditioning. Let us hope that we can continue this tradition for many more years.

We ordered a pound of fish and sides and it was great! The outdoor terrace was beautiful and shaded with large parasols at each table. The interior looks fantastic. The owner came to our table and was super friendly. This was our first time here and we'll be back.

Love this place! We just moved into town and you couldn't ask for a better local hangout, great atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and the owner Terry is amazing!
