I recently had dinner at this restaurant and was very impressed. The price per person was between $20 and $30, which I thought was reasonable for the quality of food and service. Speaking of food, it was delicious and I would give it a 5-star rating. The service was also excellent, as the staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, earning another 5-star rating. Overall,... View all feedback.
What Leon Samalac doesn't like about Don Quijote:
Service was painfully slow- took ages to get our drink and food orders taken, for plates to arrive, for them to be cleared, for waiters to even ask if we want the check. The food was no better- stale, hard, chewy and bland. The decor is fine but a bit heavy on the conquistador side- you're probably better off coming here for columbus day than cinco de mayo. During the long island restaurant week. the personal was attentive and all 3 courses were delicious!
The food was mediocre. It was hard to justify the price because the service and atmosphere wasn't great either
Overpriced. Quesadillas were a child size for 20.00 bucks. Burritos could feed 10 families but it was all stuffed with just rice. Disappointed because I know this place has been around for a while.
Excelente! one of the best culinary experiences! great service, menu, food quality and cost. we've all gotten over the black, rock steak, the combos.
Love don quijote. we went there for new years had the best to eat. the service was friendly and at place and place. would recommend the app plantain and the sangria.
