Mamahuhu - Mill Valley

Wow the super spicy fried chicken was super yummy, crunchy, I woulnt recommend the extra spicy option, plenty hot by default Great egg rolls, nice touch with the toasted sesame oil.

Fresh, inventive Asian fusion style food. We love the vegetarian options and lunch plates. Its definitely Americanized but its definitely delicious soo... we keep coming back for more. The West Lake Beef Soup is a new obsession, like an egg drop soup with seasoned ground beef in a light broth.

Everything was fresh and delicious tasting not super oily or heavy like a lot of Chinese food takeout. Crunchy Cabbage Salad was surprisingly excellent (was skeptical) Mushroom Mapo Tofu (House Special) and Fish Under Water both really good. Wok'd Veg was fine but nothing special. Overall would definitely recommend!

I am glad we tried mamahuhu for LNY. We ordered two DD Rice Plates, one with Kung Pao Chicken, and one with Broccoli and Beef. The portions are great, but both house specials were saltier than expected. We upgraded one plate to include the Jade Fried Rice, which was flavorful but had a strong shrimp/fish taste. We also added an egg roll, which was crispy and the sauce on the side was nice. The Tomato Garlic Chow Mein was good, but the West Lake Beef Soup Small was not as pictured and bland.

The Capital Curry Chow Mein was incredibly spicy. The Sweet Sour Chicken (House Special) was full of undercooked vegetables. The Egg Rolls were also terrible. Would not recommend. Also, the order took almost 1.5 hours because someone stole our original order.
