While many rave about standout dishes like the flavorful chicken enchiladas, crispy chips, and unique tofu options, others find certain items lacking flair, citing forgettable tortilla soup and overcooked tacos. The bustling atmosphere adds charm, but experiences with management can cloud the visit. Despite mixed reviews, the restaurant’s vibrant ambiance and array of choices make it a worthwhile stop for casual diners, especially after outdoor activities in the nearby scenic areas.
Had a few vegetarian options that could be made vegan, this burrito vegan was made by taking out the cheese the tofu was really good overall good burrito would return
This is a small place that has been around for years and is a great pleasure after a mountain bike on Mt. Tam or a visit to Mill Valley. You have to choose salsa on every wall, which makes it a fun place to immerse. Its only 24 seats and has a bar, but seems family owned and not corporate at all. Unique menu items that please the person who likes everything from Mexican to interesting pizzas to burgers. Very recommended.
Platos grandes are where its at. The chicken, the enchiladas, all outstanding. Also huge fans of their queso, the popcorn shrimp, and their light crispy chips. Huge variety of excellent house made salsas. Bummer that the namesake tacos are pretty lackluster, otherwise I'd five star this.
The street burger is one of our favorites but honestly everything on their menu is delicious! We also love their enchiladas and the tacos!!!! You have to try their tacos!!!
This was legitimately the worst tortilla soup I've ever had. It's not seasoned, it's thin, there's no cheese in it; it's essentially a chicken noodle soup with tomatoes. The fries and churros were forgettable. Save your money.
