Believe it or not, before today I had never even entered a Popeyes. Took a tip from one of the locals, who recommended it over other fast food restaurants in the area. Popeyes staff (incl. the on-duty manager) were friendly and helpful with this first-time customer. Their patience and good humor made for a very pleasant experience. The food is not what I 'd call genuine 'down home ' fare (part of my family is from the deep south), but it was surprisingly tasty — much better than expected at these prices. .

Wasn't good. I had the spicy chicken sandwich it tasted like it was out all day are from the day before. My wife had a chicken sandwich too not spicy and she said the same thing.
