Mr Bun Mi - Mildura

Mr Bun Mi is a Vietnamese restaurant owned by a lovely Vietnamese family, who also own Andy's Kitchen. The menu at Mr Bun Mi consists entirely of Vietnamese dishes, with a few options that can be veganized upon request. The owner mentioned that most of their dishes can easily be made vegan by substituting tofu and/or veggies for meat and omitting ingredients like fish sauce. It's important to specify that you want your dish vegan, as many vegetable dishes come with fish sauce or other animal products by default. They were unsure if the skin of the fried spring rolls is vegan, so keep that in mind. Overall, the self rolls and noodle bowl we tried were fresh and satisfying.

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Victoria. I dined here twice during my short 3 day stay in Mildura and will definitely return on my next trip.

We sampled all of the vegan dishes and were impressed with each one. The vegan fried rice, in particular, was the best fried rice I've ever tasted. The staff is knowledgeable about vegan options. I would give this restaurant 5 stars if I could.

The tofu salad was fantastic, the staff were amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely at this restaurant.

Forget all of those fancy Vietnamese restaurants with their trendy decor. This place offers truly authentic food and excellent service. Mildura, you are lucky to have this gem right at your doorstep.
